Hey everyone,

I'm making a QC fixture in aluminum which has a bunch of 1/8" punched numbers, letters, etc stamped into it.
What's the best way to highlight them against the rest of the aluminum? Right now they are pretty indistinguishable.

Thanks

Awesome, I tried finding a thread like that but didn't have any luck. I'm sure there will be something good in there.

- The old fashioned way, painting by brush.
- Using a stencil with a air brush. Then wipe away the over-spray with cloth and lacquer thinner.

Two part paint will cure in a few days to a week.

1. I thin enamel and scrub into stamps with a small paint brush.
2. I then scrape over the top with a business card.
3. Let dry then use a rag wrapped around a flat object with just a little thinner. NOT too much!
