We recently purchased a Clausing drill press at auction. (Model 2286). It is missing the up/down crank assembly so there is no easy way to raise or lower the head. The rack is in place but all other details are missing. The rack has .25 between each tooth. Can anyone help to find out what size of pinion gear to buy that would fit my needs? Alternatively, where can I find a new assembly?
