The manual I have specs Vectra #1 oil for use in the transmission. Question is why? As far as I understand Vectra is a way oil.
I know I'll get flamed for doubting the manufactures recommendation.
Vectra 1 seems to only be available in 5gal buckets, I only need three quarts. Contemplating Using DTE24, that I have, and seems more suitable for a transmission.
Thoughts?
