Practicalmachinist.com running VERY slow, frequent "Bad Gateway"

Hi all,
I know some other postings like this have been made during the last couple months, now it's my turn. The forum (all sections, as far as I can tell) is running extremely slowly, and I'm getting "bad gateway" messages too that show the issue as being PM.com.

How widespread is this? Other sites I go to over the last month are all fine, and there's no indication there's any issues with my internet access.

Anyone else?

Thanks! Please let us know what the issue was when it's resolved. If there's someone using PM bandwidth for DDoS tell us, we'll organize a posse and find that varmint!

Same here.
Some new win10 crap at start-up today so wondering if that's part of the problem...?

Don't think so, I am using Win7 and having problems with just this site.

I don't know what you guys are whining about.

It only takes like 15 seconds to load a page.

That's not enough time to get another coffee! :mad5:

P.S. The "mudfest" sub-forum should have a dwell of 30 seconds between all clicks and keystrokes.

That would greatly improve the whole website.......

I get the 'max user' error at least once a week, but today is something different
User pm_forum already has more than 'max_user_connections' active connections

Same as Gusafson, Max-User-reached. Im on Mac so it's not just a windows thing.

This is an error coming from the database that's in the background running PM, nothing on our side, so mac/windows/whatever will all be the same... Just FYI for all. Sounds like the dev team are working on it and should have it sorted out soon!
