If I remember correctly, those Acme threads are on a slight taper like 1-1/2" TPF. That was part of the old Houston Engineers product line when the two companies merged together way back in time. And no, I do not have any information on the threads.

Also, the Drilco Rotary Shouldered Connection book, now part of Schlumberger, is Copyrighted material, you ask me to supply to you. I cannot copy, reproduce, or distribute this book to anyone out there. Get a hold of Schlumberger marketing group and see if they will sell you a copy. Last price I saw was $750 for that little book!

Default Thank you for your reply

According to what I have learnt,The book is now off the shelves.
Add a little more, the thread is without taper,That's what puzzled me!
    Thanks again.

The copyright still stands, I can't afford to take a chance on distributing copies of it. They do come up for sale every once in a while on eBay, it's a far shot. Is there a particular connection you need information on?

Amazon has the spec book for around $300 if the job can support that.
