It's time to re-stock my supply of lubricant(s) for brake parts and rubber gaskets. I've used Sil-Glyde on drum brakes and Delco silicone grease on disc brakes for a few decades, based on recommendations made in a Servicing Disc Brakes class I took in 1971.
Today, the maker of Sil-Glyde -- which I've found easier and less messy to use and store -- specifically recommends it for both drum and disc brakes.
So, do you think Sil-Glyde is still well-suited to the job, or are the silicone-ceramic products significantly better?
Thanks in advance.
John
