I am about to pull the trigger on a Rivett 608, there are a few things that have me a bit apprehensive but mainly the way the draw bar wasn't running true when the machine was turned on... I should have taken a video... can anyone tell me if this can be adjusted or is it more likely that its been bent? The engagement lever for the carriage feed seemed a bit finicky as well and adjust this screw behind it seemed to keep it out and engaged. The belt tensioner was also not on the lathe so Im wondering if the finicky engagement was from the belt slipping... any advice is appreciated... no clue why that photo keeps uploading upside down..
