Hello everyone. I have a problem, that I'm embarrassed to admit, with the drill press I'm trying to use at school. The drill press I have is a Rockwell / Delta type 1 15" variable speed #15-655.
The chuck was spinning way to fast so I shut the machine down and turned the RPM way down. Now it only hums. I then read that you should only change the speed while it's running. DOH!! How can I get the chuck spinning again? Any advice or help would be great. Thanks everyone.
