What sets them apart from your everyday induction heating machine that costs thousands less?
Aside from the obvious tool pot that they have.
We have a heater, wouldn't we just be able to machine a pot and do our own heating of the shrink fit holders?

They have a cooling station. At least the Haimer one I used did. They have different settings and 'rings'(?) for different size holders.

Basically. You can set different programs for different sizes/types of holders, too. Like, an 1/8" in a normal stubby holder can take more/longer heat than an 1/8" in one of those 6" extended reach, max clearance type holders before you start distorting the holder. Then, obviously, one probably needs more time in the coolant tank than the other, too.

Yes, the Haimer had multiple settings for different sizes (tool diameter) and holders as teach said.
