Smithway Machine Company #291 bench grinder

I have the above bench grinder and cannot find any information on it. I am trying to find out if it is 1750 or 3650. I want to fix it up to sharpen my wood lathe turning tools. Only plate on it says Smithway Machine company serial no 291. Do not operate without guards. Is there a way to tell what rpm it is? Thanks.

Thank you, I had come across that one in my search. I have an old motor with a buffing wheel on it that runs at 1725. Plan to carry it to work and compare speed by looking at them while both running. I am almost certain they are the same speed. Here is a picture of the only plate I can find.

I found a contact-free tachometer that uses a laser and shiny tape for $5 used. Or, get a Starrett speed indicator.
