In some "worlds", its Quiet.

In reading all the passionate thoughts, theories, conspiracies, guidance, opinion, advice, fear, predictions, etc;
there is a bit of peace discovered away from all the noise churning in these forum boards.

I found it outside in my front yard.

There's hardly any noise from a nearby highway. A neighbor is playing ball with his dog.
A young couple walks by in a stride of exercise.

The sky is void of multiple con-trails left by aircraft.
I've not heard an emergency vehicle siren in at least a week.

One could say, "I sleep well 'O' nights".

And then, a click of the mouse button, the opening of a web browser and all hell is loose.

My mind is not vast enough to process all the "noise" on the Internet or this forum board.

I can comprehend the grass in the front yard though. It's beginning to turn spring green.

The desert is the most quiet place I have ever known.
It must be the sand absorbs the sound waves or something.
I do believe I have the best hearing out of anyone in this world that I know.
I also have tinnitus and the hum heard around the world.
I bring ear plugs to restaurants and stores and bars.
I would love to go back to the desert in Arizona some day.
Odd thing, there is another place that I found to be extremely quiet,
so much so that it reminded me of the desert.
That place is down on the football field at the Atlanta Falcon's stadium.
There was no crowd of people there at the time of course,
but the field is made of astro-turf and ground-up recycled rubber tires
to prevent player injuries when they fall.
The ground up rubber must absorb the sound in some way, because it is
extremely quiet there, down on the football field. Odd I know, but it
is true. Maybe it has something to do with it being a dome stadium?
Who can say. But I love quiet. Some people at work talk so loud,
I believe they are mostly def. But I do share your portrait of a spring
evening being a wonderful and quiet place. Thanks for sharing.

100 acres, House 800 feet from a rural road, Freezer full, next years firewood cut and split, 2 dogs (What could be softer than a faithful dog's ear?) 7 hens, 1 rooster, 2 horses and about 6 barn cats.
Spring birds are singing, bird houses being checked out by new tenants, Grass is greening up and the maples are budding.
Me and the Ole Lady are getting older but I can still catch her now and then.
The world is going to shit all around, a lot of it self inflicted.
Just leave me alone..........Bob

I only have 2 acres, but yesterday out in the very back of my yard, I spent a couple hours splitting wood from tree falls and enjoying nature and the quiet. Lots of rabbits and squirrels zipping around. Then my back made me lay down for a couple hours. Doesn't feel much different to any other day to me, other than the fact that I have two rugrats running around all day now since schools are shut down until May. :D

Closed due to meaningless topic title and chit chat nature of topic. ( although I admit this is the most profound chit chat I’ve had to close :smoking: )
