Source of "bright nickel finished" sheet 12" x 24"....

.050" to .060" thick. Sometimes used by trophy shops/engravers for their best nameplates ...but my local shop's supplier is out of stock for a while. Not sure if the base material is aluminum or steel...either would do for my purpose but prefer steel if given a choice. Just need one sheet.

The material looks a bit like chrome but not quite as glossy as chrome. No visible brush marks.
 
I would think that the material you are after is actually nickel-silver also called German-silver. One of the C75x alloys of copper/zinc/nickel. It is used in musical instruments and polishes up nicely
