Help please. Spindle not braking.
I purchase a used 1989 Mori Seiki SL25, on my first part I get a spindle drive alarm (alarm 12). I change out the 3 SCR and the 3 diode next to them, same problem, alarm 12.
I purchased a new cercuit board, now I don't get the alarm 12 anymore but the spindle decelerate. When it finally get down to about 150 rpm it star sounding really horrible almost like a grinding sound.
Spindle drive part # is A06B 6055 H422
