Before I retired I tooled up 2 Hurco mills with items from MariTool.
Purchased toolholders , collets, facemills, inserts, pull studs, etc.

My review, easy to use web site, excellent quality, competitive prices, well packaged items, fast shipping.

With so much crap tooling out there it is one less headache to know your holders are in spec and properly balanced.

Also, if you are setting up a tool library, the cad downloads make it a breeze to do.

Sometimes we are following a thread and need to look at every post in case it contains useful information, then we have to read old worn out insults. It isn't funny or entertaining, just a waste of our time and server space. Why don't you children start a thread for insults and leave them out of the useful threads. Most of us are thoroughly fed up with this nonsense.

There's a reason why the 'ignore poster' function exists.

I had a rather large $ value sale on E-bay this past week. I am in Beaumont, TX, in spitting distance from the Golf of Mexico. But the winter storm reached all the way down here and Beaumont was basically shut down for most of the week. I did not even get mail delivery on Monday through Thursday. Friday was the first mail delivery of the week. City and county officials, in an abundance of caution, were urging people to just stay off the roads. Many of them and many of the residents here are not familiar with driving on snow and ice covered roads and sand and salt is in very short supply if there is any at all.

I was able to keep my buyer informed of the situation and I believe he understands. I was finally able to get his order shipped on Thursday via UPS. The USPS was still closed that day.

I am working from home with this but have seen some pretty sever snow storms when I worked in northern states. And even there I have seen businesses shut down for a day or more during and after those storms. The winter storm of the past week was a bad one.

This has been going on for a long time and there have been countless posts on the subject. A few think these battles are funny but negative comments far outnumber positives, so it can be considered an informal poll. There have been warnings and suspensions but they keep on. As I have said before, there is some rhetoric that goes well in Playboy or Hustler that is completely out of place in Nature or Scientific American. After 67 years in the shops it is hard to burn my ears, but I think things should be kept reasonably civilized.

Not the desirable solution. I generally support free speech, but so often what starts out to be a debate becomes just vicious name calling and insults that have no value. Why tolerate them? Naturally I do not see private communications but from postings it is apparent that there have been warnings both privately and in regular forum posts. A few have been suspended, either for a time or permanently.

Milacron has been active recently. Whether he is the designated moderator or not, he is still in control.

    Frank,

Forgot to mention the heavy steel alloy 40-taper tightening fixture arrived a day or two ago.

SERIOUS bit of kit, thanks! I'll be wanting another when weather improves. Shop heat has had to be put on short rations this winter.

Actually..... y'all did just about everything right, including use of easily re-used or recycled brown paper packaging AND NOT annoying "angel turd", putting the paperwork in a very elegant slip .. so grubby "shop" hands need not touch it and get it dirty or oily before the "clerical staff" deal with it (Ich.. but after cherry go-jo!!)

    "etc."

ISTR two of the also appreciated promotional items had neither website URI nor phone number on them, all others having one if not both.

But that's just an old "merchant" suggesting they could and should have. "Never miss an opportunity" ...to make it easier to place an order than emplace an excuse not to do, etc.

    Happy customer. "As usual!"

I find it interesting that no one is complaining that he left the country. Yes he left Texas but why not go to Florida or Hawaii and at least keep his spending in the USA.
Did he quarantine himself for 14 days on return or did he go outside and wave at the cameras? I assume the TSA will separate his wife and children into separate quarantine locations when they return. That is the republican way.

Not keen on putting good craftsmen I respect and admire on "ignore" but every thread on PM of late seems to attract a ration of irrelevant whimpering, then the usual sewing baskets, yarn, darning needles, and gossip over baby booties ensues. same as the OTHER thread, repeated.

So I have done. The "Ignore" thing.

Wuddn' yah know it? A substantial reduction in paging and scrolling comes as a bonus!

Ahem.. and it could be cleaner yet if digger would stop TEASING for the predictable knee-jerk reactions?

People are worried about what Cruz does. What about America? Looks like it's been taken over in a silent coup.
