You don't need to. Fly in. Do your Operations Audit. Fire a Canadian Expat CEO and make sure he is on an airplane before the Danes lose their overly patient cool and lynch the SOB. Amazing they don't realize consultants don't fire people directly, but "fired" they assuredly be. Why did he think I was THERE?
Install a solid and well-regarded Dane as CEO. Same deal. You make a phone call, go tell him he has a new job and how to succeed at it.
THEY will now sort the rest of the problems. In their own way.
Grab yer parachute and escape! Or at least do something more exciting.
Watching icicles form, melt, reform, "etc." of a winter, or peat grow of a summer are popular pastimes in Danmark. Taxes don't leave them enough for expensive pursuits.
Give it a think. With nobody working, everybody masked-up, staying to-home, and riding the dole? We'll shortly be in the same fix.

For those who haven't seen it, here is a Maritool tour from NYC CNC. Frank really does deserve all of the praise he gets.

Nice video, of an impressive operation. I especially like the magnetic tool tracking board.
Frank looks pretty sturdy, I doubt he gets much verbal abuse face to face IRL.

Ordered mine.
Kinda sums up life.
Quick story--
At an old job the customer was asking about some orders that we were behind on and my boss proceed to explain why we were running late on deliveries.
The buyer told him "I don't want labor pains. I want babies"

The Merriam Webster Dictionary defines "diatribe"
1 a bitter and abusive speech or piece of writing. 2 : ironic or satirical criticism.
I hardly think my posts meet those criteria. If you want an example of a diatribe, I will send you a link by PM. I would rather not post it here, but if you insist, I can. Followers of PM will have seen enough as it is.

Is that magnetic board something that is availble for purchase, or did you make it?

I suppose the song has some meaning that would be apparent if the singers would enunciate and not cover their noise with more noise. Anyway, I will not say anything more here on that issue since I am being guilty of taking an otherwise interesting thread off the subject.

There are whole families of such goods from "pre computer" days. The magnets came in a long time ago. sliding rails, sticky wax, felt and static, Velcro have also been utilized.
The concepts of process tracking itself are far, far, FAR ..older.
Similar need. Similar human brain. Similar solution.
My bet is after failure of the Tower of Bab-el and surely before the pyramids at Giza.
Modern times, see Karol Adamiecki,
"He is the author of the law of harmony in management: harmony should comprise three parts:
harmony of choice (all production tools should be mutually compatible, with special regard to their output production speed)
harmony of doing (the importance of time coordination — schedules and timetables)
harmony of spirit (the importance of creating a good team)"
Sound familiar? You just saw a video of it at work. The skill is between the ears. Hands and metal just follow.

Karl didn't even publish in English. So much for the stereotype of "dumb pollack", yah?
Brains, skill, drive, and above all "wisdom" to put resources to effective use are wherever THEY choose to appear.
"Finding them" is YOUR challenge.
They already know who THEY are!
I did say "predates the pyramids?"
How did you THINK s**t gets DONE?
A woman wants things.
A man has to put his mind and hands to work to find a way to deliver.
Ergo behind all progress is a woman... with "nothing to wear". Or maybe just kids to feed?
Substitute "dependent", "team member", "family", or "nation"?
Understand, then, what drives folks to ever-more serious accomplishments.
T'was ever thus.
