Now THAT would surprise me. This guy is clearly in the wrong and Mari has no control of or responsibility for him getting a roasting. He's the one that made a public spectacle of himself. His first step as an adult should have been to contact the company with his concerns, not go whining on a public message forum. After one day...In a place where Frank has a very good rep...

Hey guys!! Hope everyone is safe and weather didn't hit too hard. We are shipping as usual and pretty much didn't skip a beat. We are down a few guys but we are making it work.

So even though the weather is terrible that is not why this order did not ship out same day.
This order was received yesterday at 11am Central Time.
We clearly state all over the website that our same day shipping applies to UPS orders only and due to an early carrier pickup, USPS shipments may be delayed 1 business day. Our USPS carrier shows up around 9am every day so most orders end up shipping the following business day. We tried till we are blue in the face, USPS will not do a late pickup for us.

As far as a shipping discount, I don't know what the OP is talking about. This is a $60.00 order. So lets be realistic, unless you have Amazon level logistics and efficiency this order is a break even at best scenario. So on top of breaking even or losing a few dollars having management log into our merchant account, find the transaction, and offer a credit to this transaction definitely would be in the red.

We were not contacted to inquire about this order or given an opportunity to 'make it right'. We simply got an email to cancel the order, which we did. No hard feelings here. Sorry it didn't work out.

For what it is worth, I emailed Maritool with a question about ordering a $150 tool. In my experience, few emails get responses because most are fishing and a waste of time but I got two responses this time. I tend to believe their version. Dave

    Thanks Dave!
We take all emails seriously. No matter how it may sound or be typed. Many of my customers are talking or typing in their 2nd or 3rd language.

When I NEED something I make phone contact and express the urgency, though I can't fathom a collet preventing me from getting anything done.

But then again I don't do this shit for fun!

Few things piss me off more than when someone publicly slams a company without giving them the chance to make it right. I wouldn't sell someone like you the time of day for $10,000

Mistakes get made, it's not the mistake that matters but rather how it is handled. Anyone who thinks they never fuck up is full of it!

Well.. More than one ballplayer has hit one clear TF "out of the park" as already had TWO strikes agin' him when that crucial pitch was connected with. Let alone ONE. Let alone NONE, just hissy-fit panty-wad twisting and toilet-seat sniffing.

The word "Need" in this industry pairs with the words "UPS Critical Express".

"The only hard and fast rules in the world are those of Physics. "

Completely false. As the founder of Emotional Science, I can assure you that Physics are only as good as how we feel about them. No better. If Physics suits our needs, we scream "Physics!" at the top of our lungs. But if they don't, we call it witchraft...with no offense aimed at witches.

Anyone who believes in mathematics, Physics, statistics or the scientific method had damn well better first apply the following scientific criteria:

    1) Does it sound good?
    2) Does it make us feel like better human beings?
    3) Does it have solid beat that can be danced to?

If it fails any of those acid tests, it's racist and clearly not very smart.

    Dunno.

"Support your local Sheriff" works for me.

I just got confirmed an order with MariTool instead.

40-taper bench tightening fixture made outta 4140 in the USA... instead of effing "shiney wood" made in China.

    "Add Note" section?

Think THAT's a grudge f**k? Shudda seen wot I did with Goya... or Danish goods when the silly-buggers tried hammering THEM!

No fear. I don't even give a damn it takes a month to git here.

And Frank don't make enemies often enough my budget would actually notice!
