For some reason my business e-mail will do the same crap from time to time on the e-mail copy I have replied to, no idea what causes it.

I have a friend who moved from Riverside (So Cal) to SE Penslyvania last year, he bought a fixer upper house in PA. I asked him how it was going?

"IT'S F'ING FREEZING!! WHAT WAS I THINKING MOVING HERE!!"

We did question his sanity as to why he would move back East.

In reality, what doesn't kill you gives you a weird sense of humor and possibly unhealthy coping mechanisms.

Last BIG one we had in DeeCee suburbs must ha' been Feb of '79?

    Been tapering off of late.

Pure luck, we don't get a mini-Sahara desert, next four years.

Side effect of Satan up and relocating the mobile amphibious regiment as runs the portable furnaces of Hell - and his Customer Service Field Office - to inside the Capitol Beltway AKA "silly circle" last month.

I mean... I’m a big Maritool fan as it is. Good service. Good people. Great parts, great prices, etc.. I’ll not pile on OP anymore, but I’ll certainly pile on to the Maritool praise... hahaha. Positivity!

Hmmm..... Is that related to the axiom "There is no such thing as a stupid question, there are only stupid people that ask questions".

It's funny, I've been turning handles for 20+ years and it started as a hobby...

    All that being said...

When I order something, If I needed it yesterday, I pay for the correct shipping, easier in the long run....

    Meahh.. lotta that going 'round.

The "flavour of the month" to JF "deal with that" seems to be "just go bash MariTool unfairly over some contrived-silly imaginariness."

Then one can at least get free HEAT outta the deal... "in the dead of winter", even!

Short on body-modesty? Even rent yer flaming rosy-red arse out as a stoplight on a highway.. or a go for it light in a Brothel..for CASH money, either way!

Dumb like a fox, our beeser could be?

I was reading an article the other day, about how modern technology, "instant communication", (anti)-social media, computers, and such have co-opted and corrupted yet another once useful evolutionary human trait, impatience. Impatience had a useful purpose, such as inducing one to move on if hunting or foraging in an unproductive spot...now people become irritated and irate when their webpage won't load instantaneously (after it being OK to take a half-second the past year), someone walking slower than they'd like, or when a widget doesn't get shipped instantaneously.

    Pent-up rage at totally nrelated s**t, all-too-often.
A PATIENT man - rarest of critters, nowadays - can even have a bit of fun with it.

Years ago, I paid for a luncheon order, was given a receipt, and one of them plastic vee shaped contraptions with a big number on it to display on my table.

Watched in amusement, not irritation, as a flustered serving lass dropped off my order at the table of a large fam'ly gathering who never noticed the extra meal, just shared it out and et it.

Went away. Found a decent lunch elsewhere.

Came back same day a week later with that receipt and that numbered bit of plastic. Politely asked to see the Managerator.

"Is today a better day for y'all?"

"After a thirty-minute wait I figured you were clear OUT of the "fast" ingredient to make "fast food".

"I've waited a week to see if it would come back in stock."

    It had done.
