Stuck Broke Off Stud for Machinery Badge

I have a Colchester lathe with a few broken off studs. These are the little studs that hold on the tags. They are small. Any ideas on the best way to get them out?

They probably go completely through the casting.

If so, just drive them through with a punch.

peck/drill with a dremel tool and a rotary burr. grind a center hole then use a left hand drill the root diameter. Why did they break, too much torque?

Drive screws (look 'em up)

Make a drill block , 5 minute epoxy over the broken drive screw, drill out the problem, heat the drill block to release the epoxy.

ten minutes of work, 1/2 hour wait for the epoxy. Perfect job every time!

I looked up drive screws. I figured there was an official name for these things but had no idea. I'll try the drill block idea. I have about three broke off so if I can make it work that would be great. Thanks
