Tech books for e-Reader

ereader books

there are many pdf files of tech books that can be viewed on a ereader.
.
if not formatted to a small screen i use strong reading glasses to see small details or use ereader to zoom in. try Google books for free older machinist books. yes a bigger tablet screen is nice but then the ereader would not fit in my pocket.
.
some Amazon Kindle format books are formatted better for a smaller screen and save having to use the zoom.
.
Some installed software like Solidworks or Mastercam comes with pdf files of whats new or help files. these can be viewed on a ereader too.
.
machinerys handbook the pdf version can be viewed on a ereader too.
.
i use notes and bookmarks and or the index or table of contents to help find things faster. some ereader files can be searched for key words

I came across this thread while looking for e-reader advice. I know it's old, but:
archive.org has a collection of old, ex-copyright books, particularly on gunsmithing, but also engineering, machinery design, die making etc. (And myriad other non-machine topics)
