I saw him last week in the Argentine. I was changing a 1500 mm tapered roller bearing in a sugar mill. He told me that whenever he does this,he cleans the synthetic grease out of the bearing and just uses honey.Edwin Dirnbeck

Y’all are both wrong, my family had a sugar mill, there was never anything other than Babbitt and cast iron bearings that were lubed by an old alcoholic with a bucket of grease and a shovel.
