What are the top 3 bearing companies made in USA

I am curious to know what the top 3 bearing manufactuers in the USA.

I would like the know the top 3 foreign manufactueres as well.

Last question is what makes their bearings the best? Warranties, life span, things to keep in mind about performance that I wouldnt have thought of.

I think Timken and SKF are the largest. Not sure why it matters.

Koyo is probably the best foreign brand. I believe most of their bearings are made in Japan.

Fat chance on ever getting "warranty" on a bearing.

Had a 13"x8" spherical roller bearing fail. Sent it off to SKF for warranty.
Oil was dirty (yea, because there's half a bearing in it now!), warranty void.

At most they'll comp you the price of a bearing (just to get you out of their hair) but you'll never see a dime for what a failed bearing wrecked.

Could be.

NSK is a huge Japanese bearing maker.

Tons of other good bearing makers. Fafnir (Germany?), Ina (Germany?), *********(Italy?), Schafler, NTN, Nachi, Dodge, etc.

NSK had manufacturing here in Indiana! If they make bearings here, thatbwould make them American made if I am thinking logically!

You need to be more specific about the type of bearings. These companies are huge. Most have multiple manufacturing operations in multiple countries. For example, one of the biggest makers or precision bearings NSK is a Japanese company but makes many spindle bearings in England.

Bearings conform to certain standards and are very similar from company to company. I would not worry if I replaced a NSK bearing with a GMN or SKF or whatever.

NSK is a Japanese company at the end of the day. Nachi is also a big Japanese bearing maker. Good stuff from either.
