Gents, would someone here have a digital copy of the maintenance manual for an SN 40A machine?
Primarily I want to change all the fluids, and would like to know what kind of lubrication, where and how much to put in.
Apparently all the level sights were broken/cracked in a previous life, and all of them were "repaired" by filling the clear plastic window with silicone.
The lathe is functioning fine, but there is a little elevated noise from the gearbox.
Nothing major, and it does not sound like a broken gear, rather bearing noise due to low oil levels.
Found 3 oil fill ports, but there are like 5 level sights....
