sorry to use up bandwidth on something so blatantly OT but i trust *most* of you guys more than any social media site that i'm on so figured at the very least it couldn't hurt to ask.
My partner and I are in the planning stages of a trip to Medellin in feb/march, when things are generally slow here in the shop, so looking for any connections or real world advise from those that have spent any time in or have connections in the area.
and please save your "it's dangerous, don't go" bullshit for someone who gets scared by the news.
