Hard to tell from the picture but if they are actually pitted then I don't think tumbling will bring them back to life.

The solution will be more important than the media. I used to vibratory a lot of zinc parts. To get a beautiful finish on zinc I used Rotofinish L-980 alkaline burnishing compound. I think those parts will clean up fine. If you are in Southern California you might have Mechanical Metal Finishing in Gardena do them for you. Sol's number is 310-515-2725.

for visual, it wont come back, its oxidised. it will still be fine, but that is exactly what zinc does with any moisture, even from the air.
