UNC oversize taps. Where to buy ?

I am surprised MSC won't ship to you. Those taps are part of the US standards, but not in common use. Mostly those are used on clocks, gun sights, etc. I have found several suppliers that will do H2 limits, (the most common) but nobody seems to have H11 in the small sizes. I think it's going to be difficult to find that much of an oversize in such a small tap. I will continue looking and let you know if I find anything good.

3-48 is available in H5. I think H11 on a tap that small would basically make it into a completely new size, so that is why they are not made. Here is one (expensive...) Regal Cutting Tools 099403AS $39.03 #3-48 NC Spiral Point H5 2 Flt Plug | Zoro.com
You can probably find a similar item for a lot less money elsewhere.

I looked at Emuge and Guhring, and couldn't find any with the H-limits he wants.. actually their selection favors the more usual sizes.
