I.D. Of permanent collet is 1.61 in. when uncompressed. 3 spring leaves each have one long key. Name? Mfr? Pictures of tools? This is unmarked.

40mm is a common metric shank size

L.S., think you hit the size anyway, I haven’t measured there yet but there’s nothing else close in the world of metrifuckation. So 40mm it is. Who made these? Sure looks like yet another patent quick-change system.
