Look at Standard Modern, made in North Ameerica, which includes Canada, USA, and Mexico. Pretty sure most is made in Canada, but technically today a USA company,,,, maybe with some globally sourced parts????

Lehmann Lathe was still building hollow spindle lathes out in California as of a few years ago. Not positive, but heard they were bringing in castings and some parts if not all from Korea. Need a lathe with a 12" spindle bore?

I thought Monarch would take a old lathe and do a factory new rebuild. For a while Datsun/Nissan made no new sport cars so they sold frame off restoration Z-cars in their show rooms.
