    Default Vidmar??? drawer separator rivets

I'm looking for replacement plastic rivets that hold the draw separator profiles in place on what I think are Vidmar cabinets.

www.stanleyvidmar.com is a useless website! No helpful reference documentation whatsoever.

Anybody here know where to get these things. The little split round plastic geejaw in the center of the picture.

    Thankx

One reason may be that's not a Vidmar. Don't know who made that, but it's not a Vidmar or a Lista that I've seen.

It looks like it might be a Southco rivet. Check their website and also McMaster. You could also use a Well-nut with a machine screw as Plan-B

Hence the ??? in the thread title.

The footprint of these boxes is 750x750mm so they are not the modern modular standard. I suppose I could just weld the loose raster profiles on if I can't find the plastic clips. These clips are only a feature of the 1500mm tall boxes. The 1080 boxes have the raster profiles spotwelded in.

I would like to figure out the manufacturer of these boxes anyway. Also because they need to be re-keyed.

So how can you tell the manufacturer of industrial cabinets if they aren't marked anywhere?

Seems silly but open up bottom drawer and take it out....vidmars and others have the original build sheet taped to the cabinet bottom or the underside of drawer.....might give you some direction....

    Good luck

Is that the original color green? Looks like it might be a rack engineering but i have no other info confirming that other than i think it matches the color of a set of cabinets i saw in a shop 10 years ago and my memory is they were rack engineering

Another thought.....take one out and measure the hole....go to a auto body supply store with said geejaw and see if they can supply a similar option....i have seen many similar items at those kinds of stores

No I don't think so. Equipto drawer side is stamped to form a boss with slots.

I'm still hopeful these additional pictures will allow someone here to identify the maker of these cabinets as the tall ones have been stripped of their locking mechanism.

These cabinets are a little classier. They use machine screws into caged nuts.

Maybe this locking mechanism looks familiar?

I need the hook plates that have been removed from the backs of the drawers.

    Maybe Lista???

I suppose its cool that you can remove the raster profiles from the edges of the drawers, but the plastic fasteners have become old and brittle.

Guidance on where to get the correct locking hardware would be much appreciated!

    Thanks
