I guess that depends if its a real Weipert (year of man.).
Weipert died in the `70ties, was bought out by Vöst Alpine (Austrian Company) and machines then where sold under VÖST-WEIPERT.
These are very good and reliable machines.
But I have already seen new machines sold under the name Weipert which look like lathes made in far east - not in Europe......
