It means there will be a radius of 3/4" at the corner, and if you want a sharp corner you need to EDM the feature.
Sorry there is no "inch its just quotation mark around the quote. R0.75 in reference to a 5mm slot. What does EDM mean?

Might mean .75mm radius.
Yup, it does mean radius 0.75mm. A feature can be dimensioned as a radius if it’s a constant curve less than 360 degrees.

Then it's metric, and the radius would be .75mm. The shop is telling you that the smallest cutter they can use is 1.5mm diameter, and if the radius is a problem you have to make that corner some other way. EDM is one of the other ways.
You don't offer any details. There are other ways to sharp corner a feature, but without seeing the part it's just guessing.
If you receive a quote from a vendor, and have questions about it, the proper person to ask is the vendor who submitted the quote.
