    Default What is this grinder?

    Can anyone tell me what this is, some type of grinder I assume, all it says on it is "HIGH SPEED"

    Its a pneumatic Aro die grinder set. The two "barrels" in the top tray screw onto the actual grinder body that contains the air motor. One is a low speed attachment with a gear reduction in it, and the other is a high speed attachment that has no gear reduction. I still have the remains of one of these in the shop somewhere with the toolbox. Keep it oiled and it will run a long time. It was supplied with a clamp to mount the grinder in a toolpost on a lathe. You can see this in the picture.
