Thought about asking here before I do something not so great. How can I etch a textured paint finish?
The following paint coat of Imron will follow the texture if the spray coat is light and of the same color.

Ceiling in your house ?
Outside on your siding ?
On a machinery cabinet ?
On your car ?

Probably by using a somewhat caustic detergent followed by a good rinse. As I recall, ZEP Purple will etch aluminum so something like that diluted down so it won't be overaggressive.

I would definitely spot test first.

I remember a guy in BP section that he holds his breath. He also had painting experience with air hoods.

I bet I can hold my breath for a long time too...
