I think your idea is cool.
I dunno if you'll actually spot this, but I do like your idea. It's not like directly encoding a scale, but it works. I don't like mechanical type scales, they are too delicate. Anyways, what you did is still cool. At least you accomplished what youset out to do, which is better than I can say for a lot of my own projects. I keep tinkering though, and learn something new every day!
