I made a quill clamp adapter for my TA100. I still need to make one for my TA120. You gain a lot of rigidity with a quill clamp and there is no need to bother with a tommy bar.

Yes, a quill clamp were also my plan to begin with. But I wanted to have all Z travel possible. So came up with this

The quill clamp is the best solution. But this works [emoji3526]

I’m thinking about gearing up torsion bar that just rides against the head of the mill for mine. Maybe with two swivel pad thumb screws to take up the slack. I have no quill and no place to clamp or bolt a clamp.
