700 Trigger Spring

Hi,

I bought a X Mark Pro trigger to replace the old one on a 700. The trigger spring is not falling out of the old one and seems to be stuck down inside the hole. Every video I see shows the trigger spring just falling out no held by anything. Does anyone know how to get the trigger springs like these out. I suppose it is the same one as in the X Mark Pro or can be used.

Get a drill bit just a bit larger than the ID of the spring, insert into spring and pull it out

First of all, Why on gods green earth would you want an Xmark trigger over the older blued walker trigger that you are talking about? the Xmarks are JUNK, they can be adjusted but are cheaply made. The Blued Walker style trigger in your rifle is very nice and can be safely adjusted down under 2LBs with only changing one spring and proper use of stones and a good knowledge of how to adjust them.

Also the sear springs are not the same. The xmark uses a smaller and shorter spring then the Walker trigger.
