Billet Glocks

Thinking of starting a new project. RifleConnection.com has some very nice working Glock CAD files, along with blueprints, and tons of other firearm cad data, but has anyone ever machined a billet glock?

I had a thought like that cross my mind only I was thinking that a split frame design similar to some of the 2011 frames on the market where you would have a top rail milled in Stainless or aluminum and a poly grip assembly. not sure if it is do-able but would open up the poly based gun aftermarket options if you could make it work. Don't want a compact this week swap it for a full size grip, need something that's a tad thicker in the and maybe a little rounder in the front.... Hell if it is done right the frame could be made so that it still supports the magwell and grip assembly would slide over the top of the lower frame. Then you could 3d print your own grip and custom fit it perfictly to your hand and add whatever bumps/groves/curves you want.

Just my thought on it.

I don't think the OP is anything other than someone plugging their own website, to try to attract buyers.

Which is to say, I wouldn't expect much outta it.
