I think I got those we ordered several of those kits from sarco and they included or we bought the plans from them I don't remember. I did machine 3or4 of those century arms receivers to bm 59 configuration not that difficult but some of it was as i recall mill by the seat of your pants and they all worked real well pretty accurate rifle and neat looking a magazine fed garand Let me look and I''ll see if they are still in the garage and I could make a copy Barry

    Barry..
    Thanks for the reply...

I did a barter with "Jack" of Armscorp in Baltimore or "Charlie Steen" in Jersey... I don't remember where I got the parts kits for sure..but anyway I had 4 parts kits for about 16 years now and need to finish up on that project...
Had made many T-26's and shorten M-14/M-1A's about 25-30 years ago and kept the prints I made for them..
I had remachined several M1 receivers to accept M14 mags years ago.. and like you, "machined the receivers by the seat of your pants"
But I never had the "true" receiver prints to do the conversions for the BM-59..
I really like to get my hands on a original and take it down and get the dimensions from it.. (make a semi-auto rifle only.)..
Do you know anyone who maybe has one?
I don't have access to "Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland" anymore..
They were helpful in the past..People and polices changed..
    Regards,
    Robbie

If it is known that Aberdeen has the prints, it might be possible to get them through a Freedom of Information Act request, in spite of the recalcitrance of the present staff.
