Hello everyone, can someone please explain to me how to determine the proper lug closing area on a bolt? On the A Look at Bolt Lug Strength - Lilja : Lilja the calculations are telling only about the width and the height of the bolt lugs, but not a single word about how to determine the proper lug closing area, or in other words, what should be the outer diameter of the bolt lugs, or how much they have to stick out?View attachment 330814
