Recently made some extended Blade Sights for BAR 1918 & 1918A2 rifles. These are 1/4" higher than the originals having additional material to file as needed to increase accuracy at longer range. These are as pics show only the removable blade not including the bracket. Send a PM if interested.

nice job spaeth, how do you hold such small parts anyway? If you have any interest, making this style of taller front sight insert for M96 Swedish Mausers would be probably of interest over on the military Swede forum on Gunboards. Merry Christmas. Jim

The blade is .062, wide same as the original sample. It is made of mild steel and can easily be thinned and lowered with a file.
Jmm, I've been blessed to have made many small parts for all sorts of machinery through the years. These were a bit of a challenge, and I made a small fixture to hold them for some of the operations.
