Cooper 57M barrel removal
I have a Cooper 57M in 22LR in the shop to get threaded for a suppressor. I typically remove the barrel from the action and hold it in my headstock for threading.
I don't do a lot of rimfire work. I'm not seeing any threads, it looks like the barrel may be pressed into the reciever. Anyone here familiar with this action?

Looks like they're threaded. Probably a pilot section on the barrel at the breech end hiding the threads.
Search on 57m switch barrel.

Such a nice rifle those coopers, I would think being as high end as they are its a threaded action.? No?
Cooper has a high accuracy claim even with 22lr. 1/2 moa! I would hate to see a can mess that up.
But IF i had the cash to buy a cooper ($2500 start price) I guess i could afford a can and a new barrel if accurwcy was lost.
They do offer a threaded barrel option.
Looking forward to the progress
