Ruger No. 1 Question

Hi There,

Can someone tell me the dimensions of the threaded shank of a Ruger No. 1 barrel. I need to know length, thread pitch, and diameter. Any help will be appreciated.

Ruger should be able to tell the specs on this. They have been very helpfull to me whenever i have called them. good luck. Duane

1"-16. 60 degree threads. I turn the shank to about 0.995" before threading.

There is an extractor slot milled in the end of the barrel.

Get a take off barrel and measure!!!!

I have a few take off barrels in the scrap bin, if you cannot find exact dimensions, let us know, I may find time to take some dimensions.
