    How does a "compensator" have to be attached to the barrel to meet the requirements to be attached to a post ban lower?

    As I understand it, this is typically done with a high temperature silver solder.

    Or another method is a blind pin. Drill, pin and weld over. Silver solder would be easier to remove for replacement of a flash supressor should the assault weapons ban sunset.

    I think the temp of the silver solder must be rated at 1200F.
