The 30/404 is that a typo and should be 30/40? If so I will link this thread to another web site that may have interest.

I just sent an inquiry, I copied and pasted his email address and removed the spaces. Has not bounced back yet.

Fred

I got your email but left it on my computer the 30-404 is indeed a necked down 404J definitely one of the more obscure of the bunch

Tried to email that address and wouldn't work. Interested in 6PPc and 6MM throater

Remove the spaces. I put hands on the ppc earlier while looking for some other reamers it is a solid pilot clymer I think and you are welcome to it

I eliminated the spaces and my email won't send it out. Maybe I am doing something wrong. Would be interested in three different calibers. Is there a different email I can try?

You can send me a PM or go to the JSValve website and click my email hyperlink

Plenty of smart asses here....huh?

Nothing "smartass" about the question..., given that none of the manufacturers I buy from- Manson, JGS, or PTG sell 'em.

If you're gonna tell me that if the setup is correct, you don't need one- I'll politely respond that if you think any of the common, manual lathes that are used have their tailstock in absolute perfect alignment with the spindle's axis of rotation, I'm gonna say bullshit.

So yes, I will never cut a chamber with a reamer that doesn't have a pilot.

I think he has solid pilot and removable pilots on the reamers

Correct but I just couldn't help stirring the pot a bit hehe. Since I haven't never seen a chamber reamer with no pilot "fixed" or "floating" I figured it was understood.

I'm getting a lot of tire kickers wanting to know this or that, pilot or not and it's my fault for not listing an accurate description so in the next day or so I'll post an updated list with specifics.
