Default Winchester Model 100 barrel tenon thread dimensions

Have a Winchester Model 100 in .308 Win; wondering if anyone knows the barrel tenon dimensions? I know there are no replacement barrels available. This barrel had an obstruction in the chamber that damage will require the barrel to be set back and the chamber re-cut if feasible.

When the factory was still doing warranty work on these, they replaced both barrel and receiver if a new barrel was required.

I don't think there is enough material left to set it back. The gas block location would also have to be re-positioned

Jim, the gas block is fixed to the bbl, depending on thread pitch all that needs to be shortened is the gas system by the same amount removed from the shoulder...if possible

If you can get the barrel off, just measure it before doing any alterations.

And the fit of it to the stock, the front attach screw, and that gas block is silver razed to to the barrel. COnversion is only practical if the barrel is shortened one full turn, .060" shorter
