2007 Haas TM2 wiring question- Please Help

Hello everyone. First tim here. I have a Haas TM2 mill and the Jog Wheel ( MPG WHEEL) has gone bad. I ordered a brand new one and it is arriving tomorrow. When I took off the controller back cover off I noticed a connector with two wires hanging and not being connected to anything. Not sure if it was that way or got knocked loose while removing the cover. I tried to see where it would plug in but I can’t really tell. I was wondering if anyone had the same machine as I do and maybe take a peak and let me know if theirs are hooked to anywhere.i am attaching few pictures to show you tha wires that I am questioning. Thank you for any help that you can provide. I have a job that needs to go out and Haas can’t send anyone here until “after the new year”..

some further info could help. I cannot tell which wires you mean. the pics are a bit off. Where do they come from internally if you trace them back ?
