Do any Haas turn centers use standard BMT 65 live tooling ?

Best bet would be to contact hfo, but I saw an email today from Haas advertising the bmt65 drive system on their new machines. So I don't know if you'll have any luck finding it on any older machines.

BMT turrets on our DS30SSY and ST35, looks like it's an option all the way down to ST20. Smaller machines are BOT or BOT/VDI hybrids

ST20Y has the BMT65 Turret. Just installed 3 recently. Excellent and accurate setup with them. Moved a turret block from one station to another for tool clearance issues and the new touchoff was within a couple tenths from where it started. I think it's an option if you don't get a Y machine. ST20 comes standard with a BOT/VDI turret.

According to the specific info I've received from my HFO last Eastec, yes, the BMT65 turret is using the standard tooling.

And another tidbit for others.
Though it isn't clear on the Haas brochures, the BMT65 turret is available for all ST20 and up machines without the live tool drive.
So, if someone want to beef up the turret size ( more weight ) and have more clearance ( I sure do ) then the $6500 BMT65 turret-only option is there for ya.
