Is there any known param on the classic control that sets the jog speeds? A-axis jog is pathetically slow, ultimately there is no difference between .01 and .1 jog speed. HRT210H if it makes any difference.

Probably have .1 increment off in settings

The overide buttons will speed it up too for the jog, not the handle

.1 increment is on. Its internally limited elsewhere.

I don't have mine set up at the moment, but I believe you can speed things up by using MDI and G0 plus your angular value, that should get you spinning about as fast as she'll go. Then manually jog to your final values, if needed.

Jog lock and feed overide can get it as fast as it will go, or as Milland said, just rapid it in MDI mode.

What about parameter 50 - A axis maximum speed? I do not have 210 parameters but the 9RT is 320,000 and the HRT9 is 160,000.

tweak that number too far and you're bound to get Servo Error Too Large alarms.

Yeah, I don't see that doing what I want.

I guess I'll keep on the same old way. Mdi is fine, but still klutzy for half a turn.
