I have a part I'm working on (I dont setup lathes all that often anymore)

Material is 17-4 SS that I would like to break up the chip inside. Ive broken a tool or two because of chips staying in the hole.

PH Horn 105 series tool, .078" width, .008 radius going .03" deep
50 sfm
.002 IPR

Could be wrong, but don't believe there's a canned cycle. I'd program it in by hand if it were me

You might try what is used for a drill cycle...G83 or G74? Normally, you'd have X0 Z-(something), but you might try:
G83(74)X.5Z-03Q.005
X.4
X.3
etc.

G75 is not going to retract out of the hole just the groove. You'll likely need to fingerbang it to get what you want.

I used g75 with a retract out of the hole pause to high pressure flush chips out and back in for the 2nd groove. Worked fine.
