We have a 2005 SL-10 with a Servo Bar 300 bar feeder. We are getting alarm # 446- servo bar bar too long. The machine loads, then measures the new bar correctly(it is 22 inches long) then it pushes the bar into the lathe, the push rod drops down to push it into the collet, then it alarms out. Setting #3109(length of longest bar) is set to 58 inches. The machines display shows that it does have a 22 inch long bar in it,(setting 3110) but it still says the bar is too long. What am I missing?
