Why replace it with a CRT?
LCD swaps are nice. I used a 8219 Xvga Box on mine. It DID require a special cable to adapt the MDA graphics to CGA standards.

These CRT's are old and unreliable, your best option is to get an LCD Upgrade.
The Upgrade uses the same controller cable from your machine into our adaptor cable which
then sends the video to the LCD.
